The Kitchen

The kitchen was probably the biggest cost
in the entire renovation, and took the longest
because who knew that Corian counters
took forever to order?

The top cabinets were also supposed to
have glass doors, but the manufacturer
shipped them to Palookaville instead.

Oh well, I am still very pleased with the
finished product, which is a huge
improvement over the old plywood cabinets
and faux wood laminate counter tops.

Besides, during demolition we discovered
the amazing brick chimney/vent hidden
behind the old plaster walls.
