HOW TO : MAKE A CUSTOM SIM To get your own SIM-self, you can try CyberExtruder which is a pay-service to make a SIM head of your face. Or you can make one yourself with the SIMS Face Texture Tutorial. Here's another handy article for 3DS Face Tutorial. Another option is to post in one of the SIMS related message boards like at TheSimsResource.com and request that someone make one for you.
HOW TO : GET YOUR SIMS LAID A couple of people have asked me how to get the SIMs in bed, and how to make them gay/bi/just-plain-kinky. So here's a little tutorial: As for how to make the SIMS gay, well I just magically make everyone gay! Heheh, kidding. SIMs aren't specifically heterosexual (nor are they monogamous). They can initiate romance with either sex -- but they have to have a good relationship first, which is achieved by lots of talking until a Friendship is made (Happy Face appears). The trick to getting them to bed though is that you have to keep interacting until you get the pink or red heart. (Here's a tip: money can buy you love, in the SIMS at least. Buy lots of romantic items from downtown, like red roses, chocolates and diamond rings. Then give the gifts to your intended paramour and watch the relationship rise. Suave kisses get them everytime too.) Okay, the regular SIMS game by itself isn't enough if you want kink. You need the HOT DATE Expansion pack which allows for intimate and romantic encounters. HOT DATE comes with a heart-shaped vibrating Love Bed also where your SIMS can "play", but you can't see the actual sex because they're bumping under the covers. I also recommend the LIVING LARGE Expansion pack because it allows you to have unlimited buyable objects to furnish your house with, which is handy for the hacked objects that you'll need. SIMS can only have sex in a special Love Bed -- so what you really need is a hacked Love Bed. There are many different kinds, each with different animation sequences which represent the positions (some have multiple positions in the sequence). I recommend looking through adult SIMS objects sites like JD's SIMulated and Exnem's Sims Vault to start. (Both of these sites are pay-for-subscription sites.) You'll also need the naked SIMS skins, which is available in many places including the above sites. You might also want to download the Sims Nude Patch which removes the censor bars from the goodie areas. And for some good laughs, find a masturbating chair or ottoman. Most of the downloads come with ReadMe.txt files with instructions on how to install the objects and use them. One last tip -- you should make sure that your SIMS are full of energy and well fed, or else they won't get in bed to play. There are hacked objects that increase a SIM's mood, so I recommend getting those too, or having a turkey or pizza around. (Just like in real life, junk food eventually leads to wanton sex.) *Note that when left on Free Will, SIMs may freely go to a hacked bed and invite another character to join them for sex, completely on their own in order to fulfill their comfort levels. It helps to turn rejuvenator objects off to improve the chances of this scenario. Do all the above and before ya know it, your SIMS will be knockin' boots!
